Command A+ gives enterprise agents an open-weight option

Cohere released Command A+ under Apache 2.0. The mixture-of-experts model targets agentic tasks, with the company connecting its development to experience deploying North for customers. Private deployment is a central part of the offering.

Context

Organizations gain another choice between a hosted service and their own infrastructure. Control over placement does not automatically resolve quality, monitoring, or updates. Those responsibilities belong beside compute costs when comparing options. A deployable model is a component of an operating service, rather than the whole service.
