LeRobot 0.5 connects more of the robotics workflow

Hugging Face released LeRobot 0.5 with support for additional robots, including a humanoid platform, new control policies, and changes to data recording. The update also covers simulation-environment loading and the project’s software foundations.

Context

Robot learning depends on the whole chain: recording actions, preparing data, training a policy, and checking it on hardware. Improving the handoffs makes experiments more accessible. Simulation success still needs to survive a physical environment, where lighting, contact, timing, and unexpected objects can reveal weaknesses that were invisible during training.
