Command-line tools now have two kinds of users

In an engineering account of Spaces, Mistral describes tooling for creating projects, environments, and configurations. As agents began using it alongside developers, the team considered how a command-line interface should serve both kinds of users.

Context

Predictable commands, clear errors, and explicit state help people as well as models. For an agent, they also reduce the need to guess what happened. Better tool design can improve automation without changing the model at all: the system receives a clearer result and a more obvious next step.
