Codex gets an app for coordinating agents

OpenAI introduced the Codex app for macOS as a place to manage multiple agents and extended software-development tasks. Its focus is the work surrounding code generation: keeping track of projects, parallel activity, and tasks that continue beyond a short exchange.

Context

Once several agents are working, coordination becomes a product problem. People need to see which files are changing, what has been checked, and where a decision is waiting. A dedicated interface is useful when it makes that state legible. Reviewing changes and running the resulting application remain part of finishing the job.
